The system/method used should be "as automated as possible". Manual transfer of data between subsystems is permitted, but should be disclosed with the submission. Manual editing or checking of contours or the treatment plan is not permitted.
This challenge relies heavily on the participants honesty;
Free choice of treatment machine is given, but participants are strongly encourage to consider appropriate clinical treatment techniques (e.g. IMRT or 3DCRT)
The RTPlan should be deliverable within a clinical realistic time (e.g. 10-15mins). This will not be checked automatically on upload, but the organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that unreasonable.
The submitted RTDose volume must be generated from the RTPlan. The participants RTDose volume will be used for DVH calculation, and no dose calculation will be performed in the automated evaluation. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries where the dose volume using a secondary check dose calculation system substantially differs from the submitted dose volume.
Use of the data is restricted to this challenge and related publications
Participants, particularly academic ones, are encouraged to share details of their algorithms. However, this is not mandatory, and commercial participation is encouraged
